We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our startup as the for our SaaS product. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. You will lead a sales team, build strong customer relationships, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our SaaS product.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, meet sales targets, and expand market share for our SaaS product.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects, understanding their needs and aligning our product offerings to meet their requirements.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance against goals, and provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management.
- Implement effective sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and sales effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in SaaS sales to continuously improve our sales strategies and tactics.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and generate new business leads.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer success, working closely with the customer success team to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 6-8 years in B2B SaaS sales, with a successful sales leadership background.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the SaaS industry, market dynamics, and sales processes.
- Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams, with a focus on hiring, coaching, and developing talent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence key stakeholders.
